Our history
From a dream to reality
Artem Domozhirov about Husky Gorod:
‘The whole story started from Jack London’s books about Alaska and dog sledding. A long time has passed since the idea turned into reality. Step by step, I began to train dogs, run with a harness and make sleds (sleighs for dogs). Then I worked in the city park of Miass, Chelyabinsk region arranging entertaining & sports events.
In 2017, I took part in a dog-trekking competition on the Volga river (50 km distance) and won the 2nd prize.
In March 2018 there was the first dog sledding expedition to Dyatlov Pass (the Northern Urals). My dog team overcame the distance of more than 250 km.
Active life style and fondness for dogs have opened up new opportunities for me.
I have opened two ethno-tourist centers called “Husky-Gorod” on the territory of the picturesque Bashkir Republic at two ski resorts in Abzakovo village and on Lake Bannoye.
At the moment, there are more than thirty dogs of different breeds in our ethno-tourist centers, including Siberian Husky, Alaskan Husky, and mixed breed sled dogs from Russia & Europe.
Now we offer a variety of services ranging from visiting the kennel to pet the dogs to multi-day tours by dog sleds.
For more than six years, my team and I have been creating all conditions for your active & fun experiences.
I am glad to welcome you to visit us!
Sincerely, the founder of the “Husky – Gorod” Domozhirov Artem’
